Summary

Louvre operating fittings, comprising two wall-mounted pulleys and one wall-mounted jaw for receiving a ridged cylindrical wooden handle. The handle is attached to a string which is guided by the pulleys to the louvre window in the skylight above.

Provenance

Bequeathed to the National Trust by Ernö Goldfinger (1902-1987) and Ursula Ruth Blackwell, Mrs Ernö Goldfinger (d.1991), formally acquired in 1994.
