Summary
A collection of fragments of early 16th century Flemish tapestry, some tacked on to canvas sheet backing. Fragment upper left shows young courtier wearing chequered hat. Behind him is a red and white striped column with tall narrow capital and red arch line above. In distance is small Flemish landscape with towered buildings. Central fragment shows yellow and blue stripe border band and a red robe with a woman's head below. Lower right, a woman with landscape behind, a man to her right. She wears a headdress of red/gold cloth with pendants.
