Summary
Vulcan (left border cut and hung over left side of tapestry to fit into wall space). Brussels mark lower left edge; Maker's mark lower right edge. Border,satyr playing pipes lower right corner, putti teasing dog centre bottom (putto lower left corner, but may not belong as it is longer). Reeds, iris with flowers and fruit fill border. Vulcan stands with hammer raised and tongs on anvil at left, accompanied by two standing men. Young woman is drawn in chariot pulled by pair of sea-dogs in a river where other nymphs ride on the back of dolphins. Town in background. Needs restoration.
