Summary
Leather covered box - gentleman's travelling correspondence box. Numerous compartments and drawers inside including ivory pen and ruler. Front lifts off and is fitted with blotting paper inside. Embossed J.G.,Vickery, 181 and 183 Regent St., W. Horizontal compartments labelled Unpaid, Answered, Unanswered, at left; vertical compartments to right. Handles each end on outside. Contains bills - Marquis of Hartington, 1916; Lord Hartington, Trinity College - Pitt Club, Cambridge University. Kodak bill - developing and printing films, 1916. F.Best, leather suitcase with coronet and initial 1916. Artist proofs by J.Wilkinson, £3.8s.
