Summary
Armillary sphere composed of two intersecting rings and one other. Widest band inscribed 'Joseph Bramble, 407 Oxford Street, London'. Metal with gilt surface, moulded square base, adjustable stand beneath vertical ring. Wider ring set across diagonally has numbers inscribed from four through twelve (on vertical axis) to eight, i.e. maximum sunlight hours. Rod across centre diagonally opposite with globe in centre throws shadow on to numbers denoting the hour.
