Summary
A pine table, upholstered in mid-19th century blue damask matching the bed hangings, which were re-made in 1852 by the 6th Duke of Devonshire to replace the (then tattered) 17th century hangings from the bed of Christian Bruce, wife of the 2nd Earl of Devonshire, to whom the bed in the Blue Room once belonged. The embroidery to this table is the original 17th century embroidery which embellished the original bed hangings. This table has been upholstered to match 1127716. 1 - 6 (a set of six chairs) and 1127717 (a stool).

Transferred to the National Trust from the Treasury in 1984.
