Summary
A carved balsa wood parrot on a perch, polychrome painted and varnished, variegated from green to orange, with an orange patch around the eye and beak. Stands upright on the top of post with head and neck turned to its right. Label on underside of base for the Samuel Quinatua workshop.
Provenance
Owned by Ernö Goldfinger and Ursula Ruth Blackwell, also known as Mrs Ernö Goldfinger. Purchased by the National Trust in 1994.
