Summary
Hand-washing basin from a 10-piece part toilet or chamber set (1127117.1-10), earthenware, brown-transfer-printed with a checkerboard border above a bouquet of chrysanthemum, comprising: two ewers, two wash-basin, two chamber-pots, one soap bowl and liner and two toothbrush-pans, backstamp printed in brown ‘Napier / Manufactured for Maple & Co., Tottenham Court Road, London, and an impressed registration number 83890, c. 1887.
