Summary
A two page typewritten letter, held together by a rusting paper-clip, on embossed Admiralty Whitehall note paper, addressed to: Colonel G. A. Gibbs, M. P. / Ossian Villa, / Kincraig. The letter is dated: September 5th. 1919. The letter discusses family matters, George's visit to Govern for the launch of H.M.S. Despatch and the authors visits to the Clyde, Belfast, Kingstown and Queenstown regarding the cancellation of ships orders by the government in 1919. The letter is signed and annotated in ink with an illegible signature.
