Summary

A typed letter on headed notepaper and a handwritten letter on headed notepaper relating to Mrs. George Gibbs' involvement with, the Bristol Branch of the Royal Colonial Institute and her appointment as the first Chairwoman of the Ladies House & Social Committee. Used as source material for (NT3143763) - Via Gibbs - a memoir by Madeline Alston. Both in the foolscap sized paper and linen weave envelope (NT11265.1.1).
