Summary
A built-in mahogany wardrobe, English, 1936-1939, designed by Ernö Goldfinger, the plain door set flush with the surrounding wall, a chromed c-shaped tubular handle, the triangular hinged to the left side, the inside of the door affixed with a length of elastic, the mahogany-lined interior of the cupboard with a brass horizontal hanging rail.
Provenance
Owned by Ernö Goldfinger and Ursula Ruth Blackwell, also known as Mrs Ernö Goldfinger. Purchased by the National Trust in 1994.
