Summary
A set of varnished mahogany bookshelves, English, second quarter 20th century, formed of six plank shelves, supported on two white-painted metal tubular poles with metal cross pins inserted through holes in the poles, the tubular poles are braced against the floor and ceiling, each shelf with two black plastic coated bookends made from bent wire. Of matching design to bookshelves (NT 112534).
Provenance
Owned by Ernö Goldfinger and Ursula Ruth Blackwell, also known as Mrs Ernö Goldfinger. Purchased by the National Trust in 1994.
