Summary
A black-lacquered tubular steel and grey worsted easy chair, English, designed by Ernö Goldfinger, circa 1961, the tubular steel frame forming a backrest, seat and armrests, on four tubular steel legs with circular feet, the open frame with black Pirelli webbing across the seat and backrest, the foam neckrest, seat and back cushions upholstered with grey worsted.
Provenance
Owned by Ernö Goldfinger and Ursula Ruth Blackwell, also known as Mrs Ernö Goldfinger. Purchased by the National Trust in 1994.
