Summary
A mahogany and formica sideboard, English, second quarter 20th century, designed by Ernö Goldfinger, the rectangular top above a pair of white formica sliding doors, the left-hand door sliding to reveal five graduated drawers with sunken brass and ivorine handles, the right-hand door sliding to reveal an open section with vertical divider, a fixed shelf in either section, the sideboard supported on two metal H-shape legs (these have not been secured to the sideboard).
Provenance
Owned by Ernö Goldfinger and Ursula Ruth Blackwell, also known as Mrs Ernö Goldfinger. Purchased by the National Trust in 1994.
