Print of a section of Ellen Terry's bedroom featuring the dressing table and chair and the end section of her old school desk which she used for her writings by Clare (Tony) Atwood (1866-1962) given to to Smallhythe Place by David Winser of Mill Farm House, Mill Lane, Winchelsea TN36 4HH great nephew of Margaret Winser a friend of Ellen Terry (1847-1928) who resided at Ratsbury, Smallhythe Road, Tenterden TN30 7LU.
Provenance
Given to Smallhythe Place by David Winser, great nephew of Margaret Winser and was a friend of Ellen Terry, maker of her death mask and a friend of Clare Atwood.
