A three-quarter length portrait of a Renaissance woman, facing left, of polychrome wax, with applied pearls and gemstones, against a blue background. The woman stands before a scroll inscribed in gilt 'ANDREA BELLA'. In carved walnut frame; inscribed on reverse 'This belonged to Ellen Terry. Given to me by her daughter Edith Craig Sept. 1928. M. Warrender'.
