Black leather letter case with silver outer corners, belonging to Ellen Terry and given to a soldier in the First World War, who gave up his seat to her in a train. Contains an inscribed photograph of Ellen Terry (see NT/SMA/PH/127). Donated by Miss B.E. Skinner February 1990
