Original design for the poster, collage on brown paper, Poster of Sir Henry Irving (1838-1905) as 'Becket', in Alfred Lord Tennyson's 'Becket' by Sir William Nicholson (Newark-on-Trent 1872 – Berkshire 1949) and James Ferrier Pryde (Edinburgh 1866 – London 1941). 1895. Produced at the Lyceum. Commissioned by Sir Henry Irving from the Beggarstaff Brothers (William Nicholson and James Pryde) in 1895 for Irving's arrangement of Tennyson's play BECKET.
