Summary

A large metal kettle specially made for the Esse cooker, with a raised angulated handle set over the top with a cylindrical brass coloured holding attachment, and accompanied by a detachable lid.

Provenance

Purchased from the estate of the late Lord Wraxall with the assistance of the NHMF and donations from members and supporters.

Marks and inscriptions

HOLCROFT / 10 PTS / U.K. PATENT NO 410237 / S.E. PAT 1932/12918 (raised lettering on one side of the kettle)
