Summary
A shield from the ceiling of the Chamber of the old House of Commons. Painted with three lions couchant in gilt and mounted on an oak board. Marked "Shield from Ceiling of House of Commons Chamber which was destroyed in air raid (10-5-41). This was dislodged in an earlier raid (17-4-41) & is the only relic."
