Summary
German officer's ceremonial sword of curved pattern with ebonised and gilt metal hilt, and ebonised metal scabbard with a leather belt strap. Presented to WSC by a small boy(?) while touring Bromley during Harold Macmillan's election campaign, Oct 1945
Provenance
1995 Mr Wisemwn wrote with further details, Stanley Field working with the Red Cross at Belsen obtained the sword which had belonged to Josef Kramer, 'Beast of Belsen'. Stanley field gave it to WSC in Beckenham during Macmillan's election campaign in 1945
