Summary
Two circular sections of leaded stained glass windows (a) yellow "B" and (b) yellow "R" with blue). Update 19/02/2022 from Correspondence with CAC: The glass was given to Churchill in June 1941 by Lord Reith the Minister of Works, and was originally collected and assembled in the Ministry workshop by George Hicks, Reith's Parliamentary Secretary, after the bombing of the Chamber 10-11th May. A dozen souvenirs were made, and Reith send Churchill two of them. Previous description: Given to Chartwell 6 Mar 1980 by a friend of Ted Fawcett, to whom they were given by WSC after the bombing of the Chamber of the House of Commons, 1942

Loose paper note: "Two circular sections of stained glass window. Given by a friend of Ted Fawcett, to whom they were given by Sir Winston Churchill after the bombing of the Chamber of the House of Commons in 1942. The donor wishes them to be kept at Chartwell. Mr Drury thought it was not necessary to have them on show". Hand written date: "6th March 1980".
