Full description
Churchill was awarded the Grotius medal of the Dutch Society for International Relations on 3 Feb. 1946. In his acceptance speech at the Guildhall in London he spoke of Britain’s alliance with the Dutch since the days of the Duke of Marlborough and called for the establishment of a European Supreme Court to defend the UN Declaration of Human Rights.
