Summary
WSC's WWII respirator/gas mask by Avon, 11.6.1940 '68' "Large" mask, hose and red tin filter apparatus in a khaki canvas haversack with shoulder strap, stencilled "VI H and G 1941" and inscribed "WSC" also containing two spare headbands, in envelopes, and a tin of ointment anti-gas No.2 with eight tubes.

WWII gas masks contained blue asbestos in their filters, this material continued to be used until at least 1956.
