Summary
Design for a girandole for the Drawing Room in Rococo style. Unsigned and undated, but possibly dating from the late 1750s. Note in pencil in the hand of Lord Curzon: "Girandoles (2) in Drawing Room". Watermark: Crowned GR in laurel wreath.
Provenance
Unattributed drawing, possibly for Nathaniel Curzon, 1st Baron Scarsdale. By descent to Francis Curzon, 3rd Viscount Scarsdale. Acquired by gift as part of the transfer of Kedleston Hall to the National Trust in 1986.
