Summary
Plan of a town house with central hall and rotunda, with rooms and stairs on each side. Christie's description: "almost identical with Kedleston but without North rooms and reducing hall to a cube 42', rotunda 42' diam." Inscribed above drawing: "Plan of a Town House". Rooms given measurements, scale in feet. Alterations to the design on the right side in pencil. Unsigned and undated, but attributed to Samuel Wyatt. Watermark: partial, cut off: horn with initials LVG.

Attributed to Samuel Wyatt, possibly for Nathaniel Curzon, 1st Baron Scarsdale. By descent to Francis Curzon, 3rd Viscount Scarsdale. Acquired by gift as part of the transfer of Kedleston Hall to the National Trust in 1986.
