Summary
Design for a neo-classical settee, attributed to George Richardson, showing front and side aspect. Scale in feet. Faint pencil inscription (mostly rubbed out) above the side aspect, possibly in the hand of 1st Baron Scarsdale. Watermark: Strasbourg lily.

Attributed to George Richardson for Nathaniel Curzon, 1st Baron Scarsdale. By descent to Francis Curzon, 3rd Viscount Scarsdale. Acquired by gift as part of the transfer of Kedleston Hall to the National Trust in 1987.
