Summary
Indian ceremonial garland. This is a long and luxurious garland made up of folded ribbons interspersed with tiers of gold metal tassels with pink plastic beads over the top of them. At the bottom of the garland there is a heart shape, heavily embroidered with bullion and spangles. The design in the centre of the heart is of three flowers and the bullion has been embroidered to appear like a chain just inside the edge. Around the edge of the heart is the looped gold fringing. At either side of the garland there are three oval decorations. These are made of card with cotton over the top then heavily decorated with gold spangles and bullion. Around the edge there is a looped fringing. The garland is double sided with the same design on either side.
