Summary
Indian ceremonial garland. This is a garland made out of ribbons, these are folded to form chain shapes. There are three roundels, which are stiffened and covered with red satin-faced cotton, they are heavily embroidered with gold bullion and spangles and edged with fringing. At the bottom of the central roundel there is a small tassel and a green bead. At the back of the neck there are four looped strings of bullion interspersed evenly with imitation pearls.
