Summary
A double scent bottle from India. The two bottles are made from ivory with a carved palm tree motive with gilt inlaid stars and silver hinged lids. They are connected together by a silver mount that has openwork in the design of flowers and geometric patterns. 'A double-scent flask, inlaid with gilt stars with silver mounts' (Christie's entry)
