Summary
An album containing photographs of The Lady Curzon Hospital for Women and Children in Bangalore. The cover of the album is made out of carved sandalwood that depicts a licentious scene of animals with human characteristics. The sandalwood is fixed onto a red leather binding and has a pewter spine and clasp.
Provenance
Purchased in 1986 by the National Heritage Memorial Fund from Francis Curzon, 3rd Viscount Scarsdale (1924-2000). Gifted to the National Trust in 1987 by the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
