Summary
An address written in Persian script given by the Mutawalli (Trustee/ manager of waqf, religious buildings) of the Mosque at Srirangapatna (also spelled Shrirangapattana; anglicized to Seringapatam during the British Raj) to Lord Curzon in 1900. It is enclosed in an ebony frame that has been inlaid with ivory floral motifs.

Item given to Lord Curzon by the Mutawalli of the mosque in Srirangapatna, India in 1900; Curzon Collection acquired by gift as part of the transfer of Kedleston Hall to The National Trust in 1986.
