Summary
An album of official papers concerning the Delhi Coronation Durbar of King Edward VII in 1903. It is bound in red leather with a panel in the centre in gold and green ink that contains an inscription in Arabic. There is the inscription 'DELHI CORONATION DURBAR 1ST JANUARY 1903' on the book cover and spine with a geometric border in green and gilt. 'An album of official papers relating to the Delhi Coronation Durbar' (Christie's entry)
Provenance
Purchased in 1986 by the National Heritage Memorial Fund from Francis Curzon, 3rd Viscount Scarsdale (1924-2000). Gifted to the National Trust in 1987 by the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
