Summary

An address given by the Municipal Commissioners of Lucknow, marking Lord Curzon's visit to Oudh. It consists of a printed piece of silk, surrounded by a floral border using sequins with gold and silver thread. (An address from the Municipal Commissioners of Lucknow, on satin with border of gold and silver embroidery - Indian (Oudh)'

Provenance

Purchased in 1986 by the National Heritage Memorial Fund from Francis Curzon, 3rd Viscount Scarsdale (1924-2000). Gifted to the National Trust in 1987 by the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
