Summary
An address case of pale blue silk with silver embroidery, braid and fringe.. On both sides there is an intricate border, slightly different in design, but that contain a swirling floral motif; the border finishes in a fringe that goes around three sides of the case. It was made to contain addresses from the Municipality of Agra (missing). The lining is made of a dark blue silk. Provenance
Purchased in 1986 by the National Heritage Memorial Fund from Francis Curzon, 3rd Viscount Scarsdale (1924-2000). Gifted to the National Trust in 1987 by the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
