Summary
Smoking pipe from the Shan states in Burma. The shaft is made from bamboo. The pipe's cup is made from stone, which has a stand so that it can rest on a flat surface while being smoked. There is silver filigree decoration at the base of the shaft; the mouthpiece is missing.
Marks and inscriptions
there is a sticker on the bamboo, showing that it has been on loan to a museum.
