Summary
Drinking-horn with silver mounts, Bhutanese. The silver is decorated with rows of repoussé patterns. The top is made into a lotus flower shaped cup and lid. It has a leather strap and was probably used while travelling.
Provenance
Purchased in 1986 by the National Heritage Memorial Fund from Francis Curzon, 3rd Viscount Scarsdale (1924-2000). Gifted to the National Trust in 1987 by the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
