Summary
Chinese sword from the Ching dynasty. This style was the standard for Manchu soldiers. The blade is made of steel and is a single-edged and tapering blade that ends in an upturned point. The hilt has a circular sword guard made from brass with openwork of two dragons on either side of the blade. The handle is made from plaited string and the pommel repeats the dragon motif.
