Summary
Quiver made from leather-covered wood containing six arrows, the shape bulges in the centre where a circular hole has been cut from the leather revealing the wood underneath. It has a seperate lid that is placed behind the quiver in case 14. Used by the Mishmi tribe, who reside along the border of Eastern Bengal and Assam. Purchased in 1986 by the National Heritage Memorial Fund from Francis Curzon, 3rd Viscount Scarsdale (1924-2000). Gifted to the National Trust in 1987 by the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
