Summary
A pair of mahogany display cases, designed by Arthur Stanley George Butler, FRIBA (1888-1965), London circa 1925 . With four sides made from glass, each of the shorter sides is hinged. Wooden shelf connected between the legs, which rests on the floor. They display the cabinet numbers 15 and 16. Designed by A.S.G. Butler c.1925. 'A pair of upright showcases with glazed sides'.
Provenance
Purchased in 1986 by the National Heritage Memorial Fund from Francis Curzon, 3rd Viscount Scarsdale (1924-2000). Gifted to the National Trust in 1987 by the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
