Summary
A pair of mahogany double breakfront glazed cabinets, English, circa 1925. With metal fittings, with dentil cornice, divided into five linked cases on tapering legs. One of the pair consists of cabinet numbers 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, whilst the other displays cabinets 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. Designed by A.S.G. Butler c.1925. 'A pair of double breakfront cabinets'
Provenance
Purchased in 1986 by the National Heritage Memorial Fund from Francis Curzon, 3rd Viscount Scarsdale (1924-2000). Gifted to the National Trust in 1987 by the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
