Summary

Fossil, good specimen of Cretaceous (chalk period) fossil bivalve mollusc ?'Spondylus' sp. and oyster 'Ostrea' sp.

Provenance

Believed to have been recovered from the geological gallery at Biddulph by John Stanley (formerly of Keele University Geological Department) circa 1965 and donated to the Trust in 1988.
