Summary
Photograph by Elizabeth Mallet, FRPS; Klondyke House, Claverton Down, Bath; still-life - religious, headstones & part of church in churchyard: Bewcastle Cross. Cumbria (is situated not far from Hadrianıs). The cross shaft stands 14ß.5 ft high, and is considered to be 7th century in date. It is elaborately sculptured on all four sides. The southern face is shown here, photographed at Sun rise. The actual cross top has been vandalised; Dye Transfer print dry mounted onto 0.07 mm card.
