Summary
Black leather carrying case for communion set, lined with purple leather. Key presently attached to handle with string. Brass lock fitting and clasps. Four pockets inside, and six brass studs on the base. Part of the Chapel communion set. Linen label, originally attached with string, now detached and placed inside, reads; Chapel communion plate.
Provenance
Purchased from the estate of the 2nd Lord Wraxall by the National Art Collection Fund and presented to the National Trust, Tyntesfield as a gift.
