Summary
Oil painting on canvas, The Holy Family with the Infant John the Baptist and Saint Elizabeth, circle of Reynaud Levieux (Nimes 1613 - 1694), mid-17th century. The figures are all seated in a landscape. Saint Elizabeth, in blue and green, holding her son the infant Saint John, on the left, the Virgin in red and blue, holding Christ, who advances to embrace John, right of centre, and Saint Joseph, in dark blue and brown, behind on the far right.

Accepted by HM Treasury in lieu of inheritance tax and transferred to the National Trust under the terms of the will of Mrs Christopher Hussey (1907-2006)
