Small oval tapestry rug with pink ground and centre field woven with floral design (faded) and border of full blown roses. Outer black line border. Cotton lining stitched with net strips. Manufactured at Aubusson Carpet Factory, France, circa 1820.
Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust by Edith Teresa Hulton, Lady Berwick (1890-1972).
