Summary
An ebonised wood, tortoiseshell boulle and gilt-metal mounted side cabinet, English, possibly with French mounts, circa 1860. With canted front corners and topped by a slab of black marble, above a door with central oval panel of boulle marquetry and boulle marquetry spandrels, the corners with figural upper mounts, the sides with foliate mounts, on a cutaway plinth with foliate mounts at centre and corners.
