Full description
One of a pair of English percussion pocket pistols, unsigned, c1840. Octagonal iron turn-off barrel with Birmingham proof marks. Engraved muzzle band. Length 7.8cm. Calibre 11mm. Walnut bag-shaped chequered grip with vacant silver escutcheon. Engraved iron box-lock action with dolphin engraved percussion hammer. Engraved trigger guard. Overall length: 20cm
