Provenance
Possibly the picture purchased for £15 on 12 June 1826 from S. Jennings or in absence of any proof to this effect we may note that G. Fabricius, of Bristol, offered to Mr Charles Winn “A Marine View” by Van de Velde, as we know from a letter which still exists [date?]; purchased by the National Trust by private treaty sale from Lord St Oswald in 2010.
