He is turned to the right, wearing a a dark suit and an O[ld].E[tonian]. tie seated in a 17th century red velvet upholstered chair, holding a red book.
This item forms part of the original Drewe family collection at Castle Drogo. It was transferred to the National Trust in 1986.
